| In a New England college town, a brilliant surgeon, a college dean and his beautiful wife are inextricably drawn into a dark web of intrigue. Andy and Tracy Safian are young newlyweds who are lovingly restoring a Victorian house in the small town of Westerly, Massachusetts. A charismatic trauma surgeon, Dr Jed Hill, has recently been transferred to Westerley's Hospital, where Tracy works as a volunteer in the children's ward.
